How we choose content
We look for moments of play, companionship, curiosity and comfortable everyday life. Our editorial standard excludes distress, injury, abuse, exploitation, graphic material, dangerous behavior and strong language. That includes language in audio, captions and visible account names.
Reviews and automated checks can miss things. Live streams and content supplied by other platforms can also change. Playback checks help us spot availability problems; they cannot establish an animal’s welfare. If something raises a concern, please let us know.
Every animal deserves kindness.
Animals with disabilities or special needs are welcome when they are safe, comfortable, loved and well cared for. An animal’s appearance alone does not tell its story; context matters.
Credit to the creators
Videos play through official YouTube, Instagram and Twitch embeds, with links back to their platforms. Our creator pages collect selected videos and make it easy to visit or subscribe to the channel. Each selection stands on its own; featuring a channel does not approve every upload.
Featured media remains the property of its creators and other rightsholders. If you have a question about attribution or would like us to remove your work, contact us with the page address.
A useful place to begin
Read, learn, explore
Our Learn articles include sources and publication dates so you can explore the information further. They offer general information; questions about an individual animal’s health or care belong with a qualified professional.

Our shelter directory is still growing. Listings draw on identified public sources, and details can change. Check an organization’s website and contact it before visiting or applying. A listing does not establish current animal availability or walk-in access.
Find a shelterTools & illustrations
AI tools help us research, prepare and organize material and create illustrated artwork. Our animal illustrations are artwork, not photographs documenting real animals or events. Creator videos and channel images are credited separately.
Favorites and watch progress stay in your browser, and optional Analytics starts only if you accept. Our privacy page explains these choices and how embedded platforms handle information.
A better site, together
Help us improve
Use Report a problem beside a video to send a private concern about playback, language, welfare or incorrect details. Include what you noticed and a video time if useful. Reports are reviewed privately and do not automatically remove content.
For a shelter addition or correction, use our shelter request form. For attribution, removal or other questions, email us. Please leave out sensitive personal information.
