Contact before visiting
Confirm visiting arrangements and animal availability directly. Some rescues use foster homes, appointments, or a mailing address rather than a public shelter.
About this organization
Homeless Animal Adoption League is a volunteer-run Clifton shelter devoted to the care and adoption of cats and kittens.
How adoption works
Meet the cats and submit an application before or after visiting. The board reviews applications and volunteers contact selected applicants about next steps. Same-day adoptions are not offered.
Meeting the animals
The shelter opens to the public Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Confirm current hours before traveling. The phone number accepts voice messages; text 973-495-1763 to request another visiting time.
