Montville, New Jersey
Contact before visiting
Confirm visiting arrangements and animal availability directly. Some rescues use foster homes, appointments, or a mailing address rather than a public shelter.
About this organization
Montville Township Animal Shelter cares for dogs and cats and arranges adoptions through the township's animal-control program.
How adoption works
Submit an adoption application for staff review. If approved, staff call to discuss household needs and available pets, then arrange a meeting appointment.
Meeting the animals
The township permits in-person viewing during shelter hours, while adoptions and individual meetings are arranged by appointment after application approval. Confirm the current schedule before visiting Church Lane.
