Contact before visiting
Confirm visiting arrangements and animal availability directly. Some rescues use foster homes, appointments, or a mailing address rather than a public shelter.
About this organization
Pequannock Township Animal Shelter cares for domestic animals and places pets with adoptive homes through its municipal animal-control program.
How adoption works
Complete the shelter's adoption application and contact shelter staff to discuss a pet and the next steps. The township's adoption page links to its animal listings.
Meeting the animals
Call the shelter to arrange a visit and confirm hours, especially around holidays. Its linked animal-listing page specifies appointments for visits. Meet animals at the Washington Street shelter after confirming with staff. The distance shown is approximate and based on its ZIP code.
