Contact before visiting
Confirm visiting arrangements and animal availability directly. Some rescues use foster homes, appointments, or a mailing address rather than a public shelter.
About this organization
Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge finds homes for dogs, cats and small companion animals.
Meeting the animals
Visits are by appointment for approved applicants only. Apply online first; all household members must attend the pet meeting. Bring resident dogs for dog adoption meetings as arranged, but leave cats and other small pets at home. Contact the shelter to arrange a visit or meeting.
