Contact before visiting
Confirm visiting arrangements and animal availability directly. Some rescues use foster homes, appointments, or a mailing address rather than a public shelter.
About this organization
An Elmsford rescue with dog and cat adoption, foster care and a barn-cat program.
How adoption works
Complete a questionnaire online or at the rescue before meeting pets. Adoption counselors help with kennel or cat-room visits, the household match and final paperwork.
Meeting the animals
Hours are Monday–Friday, 11 am–3 pm, and Saturday–Sunday, 10 am–4 pm. Arrive at least 30 minutes before closing to adopt. As checked September 14, 2026, the website reports phones and internet are down but the rescue remains open; allow extra time for replies. The distance shown is approximate and based on its ZIP code.
