Foster-based bully-breed dog rescue

Bama Bully Rescue

Birmingham, Alabama

Bama Bully Rescue (BBR) is a volunteer-run Alabama organization that takes bully-breed dogs from animal shelters into private foster homes, prepares them for adoption and supports responsible ownership. It has no central shelter or kennel; the number of dogs it can accept depends on available foster homes. Its Birmingham 35201 locality comes from its own structured organization mailing metadata, corroborated by its linked 2019 handbook; the PO box is not a place to visit. Contact mail@bamabully.org. BBR describes spay/neuter, vaccination, microchipping, heartworm testing/treatment and training for dogs accepted into its program. Its own-linked adoption listing showed no available pets when checked, so ask about current dogs and applications. BBR requires adopted and foster dogs to live indoors and be supervised outside. It accepts its own previously adopted dogs back if their adopter cannot keep them. General care advice and outside resources on the site should be discussed with the team and your veterinarian for the individual dog.

Greater Birmingham Humane Society — Birmingham Adoption Center

Birmingham, Alabama

The Greater Birmingham Humane Society operates its Birmingham Adoption Center on Snow Drive. Its adoption program includes dogs, cats, rabbits and other small companion animals.
